The BBC has reported that a teenager has been airlifted to hospital after falling while climbing rocks in Bude earlier this morning. The boy, who has sustained potentially serious injuries was airlifted to Derriford Hospital.
The BBC says:
Devon and Cornwall Police said the boy had been “pulled from the sea” near the Breakwater, and is “believed to have fallen while climbing rocks”.
Rescue teams from Bude and Boscastle, the RNLI, plus the Coastguard helicopter from Newquay were all involved in the rescue.
