from Devon & Cornwall Police:

Devon and Cornwall Police is getting ready for the annual Royal Cornwall Show, which is taking place between the Thursday 8 June and Saturday 10 June in Wadebridge.

Police staff, officers and volunteers will be ready to meet and greet people and answer any questions.

The police stand can be found at location 78 near to the Westcountry Arts and Crafts section, where members of the public can talk to local police officers, meet mascots, Bravo and Juliet, see various police vehicles and much more!

There will be opportunities to watch police dogs in action and, after their pawsome demonstrations in the arena, they will be dropping by the stand to meet their adoring public.

PC Juliet and PD Bravo, our crime fighting duo of mascots, will be on hand for photos and fun at various times during the day.

There will be fun for all the family with opportunities to get involved, dress up in a police uniform, take some selfies and create a memorable fingerprint keyring to take home.

This year there will also be a reaction wall , to test your skills with and without special goggles which simulate  the effect of alcohol on your reflexes.

At the police stand you will be able to pick up useful guidance from the team and speak to local officers about what matters to you in your community. Safety and crime prevention advice will also be available.
