Have you heard about the Green Ribbon Appeal?
It is Mental Health Awareness Week and The Pearl Exchange would like to use this opportunity to highlight the importance of their work in the community and ask for your help so they can increase their efforts to support more young people with the ups and downs of life.

You can support them by either making a donation online today and collect your Green Ribbon Awareness Badge from the Horse Box Café at The Pearl Exchange or pick up a badge from one of the participating stores around town (Coop, Spencer Thorn, Lansdowne Bakery, Lansdown Dairy, Refill Shop, Boots, Crooklets Café, Travel Lodge, Bude Post Office, The Coombe Barton – Crackington, The Cabin Café – Crackington) for a small donation of £2.
Will, aged 31 says:
“The first time I went to The Pearl Exchange, I was nervous about going by myself, however, that was instantly dispelled once I stepped inside where I was greeted and asked if I wanted a cup of tea. I instantly felt like I was in a place of open, free expression and that I could just be myself. I know a lot of people find this prospect daunting.

I am so grateful for The Pearl Exchange! They have created a physical space where people can talk openly, passionately and genuinely about themselves, their passions and their mental health journey. This is not only great for the community, but honours Pearl and her memory.”
Your gift today will ensure a brighter future for young adults like Will and a thriving community for all of us.
