Police are appealing for information and witnesses following an assault on the Old Bideford Road on Tuesday 9 May between 11.40am-1pm.
It was reported that an incident had occurred between the occupants of a white van and a black Ford Focus in a passing place between the solar farm and recycling centre.
It was reported that the two vehicles have come to a stop and that the driver of the car was punched and sustained injuries to the face and arms.
Investigating officers are keen to speak to anyone who was travelling in the area at the time and saw anything which may assist enquiries and anyone with relevant dash-cam footage between the times above.
