What a brilliant end to St Piran’s Day in Bude by the Bencoolen Wreckers who performed sea shanties at The Brendon Arms before issuing to cheques to local charities from collections during the last year.

The funds had been raised over the last 12 months or so from bucket collections/events the Bencoolen Wreckers had sung shanties at. What a brilliant finale to St Piran’s Day, 2023, in Bude, and well done indeed to the Bencoolen Wreckers for raising such a phenomenal amount.

The donations made were:

£500 Jay’s Aim – received by Brook Osborne

£500 Bude Food Bank – received by Lee Sycamore

£500 Bude Methodist Church/Barnabas Aid:Ukraine Appeal – Received by Deacon Debs Marsh

£500 Jayden’s Hero Arm  – received by Jayden, sister Elissa and mum Rebecca Poole.
