Only in autumn, Newquay Airport was lauding new flights from Newquay to Gatwick, among others. Now, the regional carrier has ceased trading, cancelled all flights, and gone into administration. Administrators have taken over the company, which only resumed flights in April last year, following its previous collapse during the coronavirus pandemic.

Newquay Airport says:

We are saddened at the news that Flybe has been placed into administration. Flights to and from Newquay with Flybe are cancelled with immediate effect, please do not travel to the Airport if you are booked on one of their flights unless you have made arrangements with another airline.

Further advice to affected UK passengers is available from the CAA.

For travel between Cornwall and London, alternative flights are available with Eastern Airways to London Gatwick.

For travel between Cornwall and Manchester, alternative flights are available with Loganair from 10 February and EasyJet from 26 March.
