Milder, wet and windy weather is expected to sweep into the UK on Sunday marking the end of the current cold spell, however this will be preceded by some wintry hazards, says the Met Office.
Single figure temperatures which have often dropped below zero, creating ice hazards, are set to rise to daytime temperatures of 12 degrees on Sunday and 14 degrees on Monday (with heavy rain). Staying warmer for much of next week. Hallelujah.
