A police investigation has been launched after an incident in Bodmin resulted in a man being hospitalised.
Police were called at around 1.30am today (Thursday 15 December) to Ringway Flats in Bodmin, following reports of an altercation taking place in the area.
Units attended and located a man in his 20s who had sustained serious injuries; he was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains.
A woman in her 20s is currently in police custody in connection to this matter, and an investigation has been launched as police attempt to piece together the circumstances surrounding this incident.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area and would like to hear from anyone who may have CCTV, dashcam or doorbell camera footage between 1-1.45am that could aid the investigation.
