The future of M & Co’s stores (nearest Launceston) is uncertain after the company went into administration.

On December 9, the directors of M&Co Trading Limited resolved to place the company into administration, and appointed Teneo Financial Advisory Limited as Joint Administrators.

Administrators are investigating the possible sale of the business.

Moneysaving Expert advises:

You can continue to buy goods and place orders online; currently all new and existing orders will be delivered as normal.

But be warned: if you place an order or want to return an item and M&Co stops trading in the meantime, you may be left out of pocket.

M&Co’s new rules on refunds apply regardless of whether you purchased items before it went into administration on 9 December:

  • If you bought your item online, you will receive a full cash refund if it’s in original condition. You have 14 calendar days to notify M&Co you want to do so, and another 14 days in which to return goods.
  • If you bought your item in-store, you will only be able to exchange it for another item of the same value. You have only 14 calendar days to return it.
