It looks like Tuesday morning will be a very wet one in some areas, with a yellow warning for rain issued by the Met Office.

A band of rain will move east across southern parts of England and Wales during Tuesday morning. Some of the rain will be heavy, with 15-30 mm of rain falling widely and as much as 40-50 mm over parts of Dartmoor, if you are travelling that way.

Bude is not included in the warning, but spray and flooding on roads will probably make journey times out of the town longer and bus and train services may be affected, so do check.

On the weather map, the warning is for east of Plymouth, and Launceston and south of Exeter, covering much of south Devon and in to Dorset/Hampshire, including Tavistock, Totnes, Chagford, Princetown, Ashburton, Chudleigh, Dartmouth, and Honiton.
