We have a yellow warning for rain in place from the Met Office.
The good news is that the much-needed (heavy) rain will mainly occur overnight, especially from 7 pm – 6 am. More showers are due on Saturday.
20 to 30 mm rain is expected quite widely and in a few places between 50 and 70 mm rain could fall, the bulk of this within 6 hours. Be prepared.
