Yellow warning for wind

Oh goodness, not written about the weather in ages. How exciting!

The Met Office is warning of wind tonight (from around 9 pm) and into tomorrow morning (until around 10 am).

The yellow warning is for strong easterly winds which could lead to some disruption most notably on the higher ground like Dartmoor and further west. The Met Office says:

  • Some short term loss of power and other services, such as mobile phone coverage, is possible
  • It’s likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities may be affected by spray and/or large waves.

The weather is set to warm up from midweek.
