Woman dies in Bodmin collision

Devon and Cornwall Police report two accidents today, one leading to a fatality

A woman in her 30s has died following a serious collision between two vehicles on the B3266 at Bodmin today [Friday 19 January 2018].

Police were called at around 12.10pm to reports that a blue car and a silver car were involved in a head-on collision.

As a result of the collision, one woman has died. Her next of kin have been informed. Three more casualties, two women and a man, also received injuries.

The road was shut on the B3266 on the Bodmin side whilst emergency services worked at the scene.

Officers are seeking witnesses with information especially if they were in the area before or during the incident to come forward contacting police via 101@dc.police.uk or by calling 101 quoting log number 288 19/01/18.
