Shop local campaign: Wildwood’s new website opens up a world of wonder

Believe it or not, today I got some bits for Christmas (I know, madness, and so not me at all).

Then, when I heard from Wildwood about their new website and fabulous gifts available locally, I thought: why not regularly support a local shop as a free community gesture?

If you have a local shop/business, send us the info, the link, and any photos, and you can have a free mention on B & B.

Email is – there are other methods which may be easier for you, but frankly, I use but don’t check social media that often (unbelievably).

A shout out for Wildwood, that popular emporium in Bude that’s full of delights.

They say:

We have been working hard this year getting our website off the ground.
We hope that these gift guides might give locals some inspiration and encouragement to shop locally in Bude this year. With all going on people can still choose to collect in-store if they’d rather not shop inside, and we are still offering local drop-off in Bude if anyone is shielding or isolating.
We’ve put together our top 10 eco-friendly gift guide, and our top 10 fair trade gift guide, available on our website.

Why is Wildwood special?

They say:

When sourcing products, we aim to choose suppliers and brands that have strong ethical and sustainable values. Selecting who we work with in this way enables us to choose brands that give back to the community, the environment and developing countries that have helped nourish our business.

They also give back. Chick here for some of the organisations they support through your purchases.

What are you waiting for?
