With lockdown, it must be said we at B & B were not expecting new sponsorship, but we have been pleasantly surprised by enquiries, so today a very warm welcome to Bude Pro-Law, whose simple to use site has been created by our very own Dean Wronowski.
Fully operational, they always work on a fixed-fee basis wherever possible. The first consultation with a new client, up to an hour, is always free of charge, so there’s no cost and no obligation.
After the first hour, they will charge a fixed fee of £50.00 for the next hour or part.
Their work covers wills and lasting powers of attorney, probate and administration support, employment advice, advocacy, and buying and selling businesses. They also help businesses to write contracts and to set up.

The company is an ethical business with a social imperative, based in Bude, whose mission is to provide affordable legal services to individuals, SMEs and community groups, as well as training opportunities for local people wanting to become accredited paralegals.
The sole director currently is Ian Mason. Ian has had over 40 years of experience in the legal profession. The company started trading in 2016, and its aim is to provide “unreserved” legal services to individuals and businesses at a reasonable cost. Ian is assisted by his PA, a qualified Paralegal through NALP and an admin assistant.
A significant aim of pro-law is to provide training opportunities for people with aptitude and potential, but who for various reasons have not previously had the opportunity to get a foot on the ladder of qualification in the legal profession, which is a wonderful opportunity for people in Bude wishing to train.
Pro-law supports them in their learning and development. It also offers short periods of work experience for students at local secondary schools. It is hoping to be able to offer in due course a “law school junior” course delivered at local secondary schools to give young people an understanding of how the law works and how legal analysis and reasoning is developed and applied.
