Total cases of Covid-19 to 11th January dropped in Cornwall to 1790. In Devon, however, the number rose to 1713.
In Torridge, cases dropped to 67. In Bude, cases dropped to 9, and only 3 were recorded in Poundstock and Kilkhampton.
Holsworthy, Bradworthy and Welcombe dropped to 5, and Hartland Coast to 3.
Crackington & Tintagel dropped to 5, while Camelford & Tresmeer remained static at 17. In Launceston, numbers also dropped to 21.
Nationally, however, deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test rose by 1,295 since Friday and new cases numbered 41,346 (a drop). It takes the death toll by this measure to 88,590.
Meanwhile, the number of vaccinations in the UK up to 15 January now stands at 3,559,179.
Patients admitted in Northern Devon Healthcare have risen. The estimated R number for the healthcare region of South West remains at 1.2 to 1.5
