Wandered along the canal in the rain today to meet a friend and who did I spot, but the heron. Is it a he or a she? I don’t know, but s/he was having no truck with me! Here are my attempts to photograph the grumpy-looking creature! Probably as fed up with the cold, wet weather as the rest of us.
