From Torridge Council: We have received a severe weather warning for this afternoon and have therefore made the decision to close all offices at 2.00pm today (Thursday 1 March). This includes Riverbank House, Riverside, Bridge Buildings, Town Hall and Caddsdown.
Offices will reopen to the public at 8.45am on Friday 2 March.
Emergency Standby Officers will remain on duty should you need them.
The current severe weather conditions are having an impact on our refuse and recycling crews. If we haven’t been able to collect your refuse, recycling or green waste today please be patient and hold onto it until your next scheduled collection.
Friday’s collections have been suspended, with a double collection next week.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but we are sure you understand that the safety of our officers is paramount.
