A planning application has been submitted to Cornwall Council by Tommy Jacks at Crooklets. The application is for internal alterations to provide 10 hotel suites, together with the provision of two canopies at the front and three new windows at the back.
The aim seems to be for serviced suites rather than individual letting rooms, something like apartments for family groups, I imagine. The suites would be cleaned and maintained in the usual way, like holiday lets, but the people staying there could eat at the hotel or elsewhere, such as in their suite.
Most of the changes are internal, simply allowing the hotel to offer a different form of holiday accommodation provision. Metters & Welby are the architects who have drawn up the plans.
