From Police alert messaging system:
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a series of thefts from vans in areas of Bude Launceston, Callington and Camelford. The offenders are forcing doors and removing large quantities of power tools and other work tools.
Enquiries have highlighted concerns regarding a grey/silver Citroen Picasso within the areas. If any are seen pse let us know the registration number and descriptions of the occupants.
These offences are taking place during evenings and nighttimes
Officers are reminding members of the public not to leave valuables in the vehicles – thieves know all of the hiding places. We would also advise car owners to park their vehicles in a garage or on a driveway if at all possible.
Advice on keeping your vehicle safe from thieves can be found on the Devon and Cornwall Police website.
