It may be considered a rather ‘trivial’ comedy but everyone knows the storyline of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ and most people can quote from it: “A handbag?” is uttered by the formidable character Lady Bracknell, who is being played by a Miracle favourite, Benjamin Dyson.
With 1912-inspired design by Alan and Jude Munden, a sound track of toe-tapping Ragtime tunes and choreography by Kyla Godey (we’ll all be doing the Turkey Trotby the end of the season!), it looks like Miracle have all the ingredients for another witty, physical and high energy summer show!
So if you’re looking for great and affordable entertainment this summer, rustle up your friends and family, pack up a picnic (don’t forget the all- important chairs, blankets and clothing for all seasons) and head off to your nearest outdoor venue for a classic night out! However, watch this space, because it may yet be dragged indoors if the weather is unkind, with the Parkhouse Centre as the venue.
‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ is suitable for all ages. For further information and full tour dates please go to: http://www.miracletheatre.co.uk. Tickets available from HFC: 01872 262 466.
