This Friday, 11th September @ 5pm in the Splash Car park
Bude sharks are gathering (socially distanced!) Outside Splash on Friday at 5pm to show the council that the Bude community don’t want to loose the swimming pool.
There will be COVID-19 procedures in place to ensure everyone’s safety.
For everyone interested in the reopening of Splash pool, this comes from Zoe Gasgoyne’s Instagram. She says
We have to make as much noise as possible before the next Cornwall County Council meeting to ensure that it is an agenda point.
We will be holding a socially distanced gathering of support for the pool on Friday 11th sept evening 5pm to 6pm in the splash car park and grassed area.
I’m calling on anyone and everyone who supports water safety in Cornwall to come and support this this gathering of like-minded swimmers.
We need to show how important a swimming pool is to a coastal town and how much learning to swim is an essential life skill that can’t be lost to generations.
Please support and share this as much as you can and we hope to see you in an arranged safe and socially distanced organised gathering to support the reopening of hopefully Bude’s and Cornwall’s pools.
See you Friday night!
