From Stratton BookFest 2013
There will be displays on various aspects of Stratton’s history and we intend to have an area devoted to Genealogy/Family History, which will show you how to research your family tree without recourse to expensive on–line companies. There will also be a professional book appraiser available to give you advice about those family heirloom volumes. And there will be a chance to meet our Guest of Honour…
We will be honouring our commitment to provide free books for children, where we can. If you have any books, vinyl/CDs, vintage magazines or memories that you would care to donate, please contact us either at fosta.org.uk or on 01288 353570. All proceeds go towards the work of the Friends of St Andrew’s church in caring for the building and churchyard for the benefit of future generations.
