Bude is on a yellow warning for snow and ice on Tuesday and Wednesday with most disruption looking to occur (if it does) during the early hours and into the drive to work time. It all looks a little patchy and I doubt there will be enough for a snowman, looking at the reports.
I suspect Bude itself will be fine, but for those in outlying areas with untreated roads, things may be rather more hazardous, as it doesn’t take much snow to block single track untreated lanes. Snow has been forecast for some time now so the picture is unlikely to change. If it does, we will keep you posted.
The Met Office for Cornwall says:
Snow showers are likely to affect the west of the UK, with icy stretches developing overnight.
Some transport disruption is possible, with longer journey times and delays to public transport. Icy patches are likely to develop on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths, leading to an increased risk of injury from slips, trips and falls.
