RNLI Lifeguards on Widemouth and Sumerleaze have been working hard to keep people safe in the water and on the beaches during this exceptionally busy start to the season with huge numbers visiting the Bude beaches this Easter.
RNLI Lifeguards were due to finish their Easter cover bank Holiday Monday 22nd April. Due to people still being on holiday in the area and the potential for more good weather the RNLI Lifeguards have volunteered to extend the service on Widemouth and Summerleaze to cover the rest of this week finishing Sunday 28th April.
If you are tempted to head down to the beach during this time; head for one of the RNLI lifeguarded between 10 am and 6 pm and swim between the red and yellow flags which mark the safest bathing area.
Full season cover will start on both Widemouth and Summerleaze from Saturday 4th May
