The Prestongate Beer Festival happens soon. Opening Friday 5th October , it runs until Sunday 7th October. What a wonderful way to start the autumn months….with real ale, fine wine and live music.
On Friday the live band is Lucky Guy and the Chancers, on at around 9pm. Still to be confirmed for the Saturday is the Bencoolen Wreckers, hopefully on at around 9pm, and Sunday afternoon they’ll have the Hendersons (around 3pm).
The breweries providing beers for the three day festival are all local, with 20 ales on over three days, plus two ciders. Wine lovers needn’t miss out. There will also be Prosecco (now we’re talking!) and Camel Valley by the glass.
Breweries include Longhill (Bude’s local brewery), Dartmoor, St Austell, Holsworthy Ales, Skinners, Tintagel, Sharps, Bays, and Forge (Hartland).
Free entry to the event with all beers and ciders £3 a pint or £1.50 a half pint. Spread the word……
