A man who set up a new business in Bude managed one day of trading before the new lockdown kicked in this week.
Paul Stacey, of The Split Bean, wrote on his Facebook page on 5th January that he had a “great first day serving fab coffee and hot chocolate” in Bude. His coffee is hand-roasted in the SW.
The Split Bean uses a restored vintage 1966 split screen Volkswagen camper van. He sells coffee from the car park of the Methodist Church when he is able to.
Good luck to Paul with his new venture when he is able to operate again.
