Poll cards won’t be issued for the upcoming town council election

Poll cards will not be issued in the upcoming election for Town Councillor at Bude-Stratton Town Council, so those wishing to vote will just need to turn up. Polling cards have never actually been needed to vote so it is a sensible cost-cutting exercise.

Voting will be held on the 27th of June from 7 am – 10 pm, in the main hall in the Parkhouse Centre (not Poughill Village Hall as previously).

Indeed, Poll cards are not necessary for voting. They do, however, ensure that every registered voter, including those who do not use/have access to the internet, is aware that the election is taking place.
