Update – Police seek Newquay man

Ryan Walsh, aged 27, of Ennors Road, Newquay, has been charged with two counts of obstructing or resisting an officer in the execution of their duty. He will appear at Bodmin Magistrates court on Thursday 28 March.

Police are appealing for the public’s help to locate a 27-year-old man from Newquay who is wanted in relation to drugs offences and assaulting two police officers.

Ryan Walsh was detained by officers on Friday 1 March at around 8 pm on Mount Wise. He was subject to drugs search when he assaulted two police officers and fled the scene.

Enquires are ongoing by police to locate and arrest him.

Walsh is described as a white man, of slim build, and around 5ft 7ins tall and has short light brown hair.

Police are asking the public for information as to his whereabouts and to report any sightings of Walsh.

Walsh has links across Newquay.

Anyone who sees Walsh or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101 quoting CR/018792/19.
