From Bude Police Facebook page:
During the early hours of Saturday morning, Police made an unannounced visit to B.E.D Nightclub on The Strand.
The operation was in response to a concerning number of victims attending hospitals with injuries attributed to the club in some way.
This, together with intelligence to suggest Class A drugs were being supplied in and around the club saw 8 uniformed officers, supported by a small covert team, a Licensing Officer and passive drugs dog make a dynamic entry into the premises.
Several customers were searched as indicated by the drugs dog and a small quantity of drugs were found. Well done canine ‘Jet’.
Thanks the management, staff and customers for their cooperation whilst the operation took place.
