Planning application to convert Flexbury Church

Thanks to an eagle-eyed reader who has spotted this on the Cornwall Council planning site.

Sadly, I had a dream of Flexbury Church becoming some kind of arts/community building but no, it is more apartments. An application has been submitted for 9 apartments in a conversion of the old chapel within what is already a residential area.

The applicant is Middleton Wilson Ltd in York, and the agent Metters & Welby in Bude.

The proposal seeks to change the use of the redundant Methodist Church to 9 flats. The works focus on the conversion of the church including internal and external alterations and extensions. The planning and design statement is here.

Feel free to leave your comments, for or against, here, but to make them count you need to submit them to Cornwall Council. Planning number is: PA21/08578
