Pen Morvah cracks open the fizz in time for Bude Carnival

Bude retirees are invited to view McCarthy and Stone’s Pen Morvah Retirement Living development on Bramble Hill on Saturday 17th August, which coincides with Bude Carnival.

From 11am-3pm, the team at the development is opening its doors to local people who would like a tour of the show complex. Guests can enjoy a glass of fizz while they take a closer look at the apartments at Pen Morvah before joining in the Carnival celebrations.

Ciara Hilley, Divisional Marketing Manager for McCarthy and Stone, said: “The open day is a chance for local retirees to see how Retirement Living at Pen Morvah could help them to get the most out of their retirement. The team will be on hand to answer any questions, and to advise on how McCarthy and Stone can make moving to Pen Morvah even easier.

“The development has proven very popular indeed and there are just six apartments remaining. We are now looking forward to welcoming local residents through the doors on Saturday 17th August, and to showcasing this high quality development which is helping to enrich the lives of people in and around Bude.”

Comprising a selection of 31 one and two bedroom Retirement Living apartments, exclusively designed for people aged 60 and over, Pen Morvah provides everything homeowners could want for a relaxing retirement.

Pen Morvah features a shared homeowners lounge, perfect for socialising with new neighbours. Homeowners can make the most of beautiful landscaped gardens knowing all the maintenance is taken care of; and many properties also include patios or balconies, so homeowners can enjoy the outdoors from their own apartment.

A House Manager takes care of the day-to-day running of Pen Morvah, while a secure entry system and 24 hour emergency call system provides added peace-of-mind for both homeowners and their families.

The coastal location of Bude is an idyllic place to downsize to, with its stunning beaches and close-knit community. Homeowners will be within close proximity of a variety of shops and local amenities, including supermarkets, boutique shops and cafes.

With just four apartments remaining at Pen Morvah, prices currently start from £220,000 for a one bedroom apartment, and from £295,000 for a two bedroom apartment.

Furthermore, in August there has never been a better time to move. For a limited time, McCarthy and Stone will pay stamp duty on selected new apartments at Pen Morvah for reservations made before 31st August 2019, provided the completion date is no later than 25th of October 2019.
