I’m sure you will all agree that Bude & Beyond has been ace at sharing people’s events, fund-raisers and business offers, through the website, and social media, especially Instagram and Facebook. This all helps to keep Bude vibrant and its businesses to flourish.
For December, however, a time when energy runs low, we have decided to only give our time to promoting community events and charity fundraisers rather than business promotions, other than (of course) for our sponsoring advertisers who help Bude & Beyond financially or in other ways (e.g., writing regular articles).
You can still submit your events yourselves here. Please take advantage.
If you have any news, including business news, then you submit it here.
If you are one of those wonderful businesses that want to sponsor our website, then you can advertise here. Adverts can be bespoke if you do not want/need a full year.
We have a new sponsoring advertiser, Jemima Rainbow, Strand Shopping Centre. We hope you will give this magical, fairylike shop your support. I do believe that the choir will be singing in the shopping centre there for Bude’s Late Night Shopping event, so even more reason to pay it a visit. Meanwhile, we have much to thank our foodie sponsors, Rosie’s Kitchen, and Crooklets Inn for. They are a great choice for locals and visitors alike. If you want a drink when you go out, then who better to ferry you to your event than Trev’s Taxi? Trev is a longstanding supporter of all that Bude & Beyond tries to do. Gents, if you fancy a haircut for your night out, then the place to go is Just Gentz.
We do have some other lovely sponsors such as Krama Yoga, for classes, and private lessons. A great Christmas gift idea that isn’t ‘stuff’. There is also the Notorious Aidan B who offers music lessons and has some great CDs to buy. For paintings, check out Lynne’s lovely artwork at Wharf Studio.
Finally, don’t forget our website designer, Dean Wronowski, who has a very unique talent. We are so thrilled that he donates that talent to our community site. Thanks to all.
Of course, Bude and Beyond is also ably aided and abetted by Rob Wilcox, Binzy Reynolds (co-owner of Jemima Rainbow) and Helen Shingler. Thanks to them all for the time they put in. Then there’s me. I donate several hours each day to Bude & Beyond to help keep the community news rolling.
