Nothing new from Parliament as MPs once again become mere candidates

There’s a chance for new blood in some parts of the country as some MPs stand down for good for the forthcoming election. They include Independents Ken Clarke and Oliver Letwin, both pro Europe. Justine Greening, Rory Stewart (he of leadership contest knock-out) plus Amber Rudd (not re-called to the whip by Boris Johnson) among many others from across the party divide.

Scott Mann is now a Prospective Parliamentary Candidate rather than an MP.

In terms of legislation, not a lot will get done now until the election, though the civil service will be beavering away in the background keeping things going. All to play for, politicking galore, and an election on 12th December.

Happy to share any politicking (open to all parties).
