North Cornwall Local Cooperative Food Database Network

It might not be the most gripping title but the idea is a good one.

Di Ellis-Wildman is creating a ommunity assemblies food cooperative database for local members, a food network database of local growers:

(small and big – allotments and farmshops)

to address surplus/shortages/demand to buy/swap/sell/distribute for local people within a 15 mile radius of Launceston, Bude and Camelford.

The idea has already taken off with 60 suppliers now signed up.

So, if you or anyone you know would like to be added to this database, send your details to Diane Ellis-Wildman to be added. She’s happy to visit you to chat and get some pics for group pages.

She needs info like: where you’re based, products available, how to order from you, if you deliver, what radius, if you have a website, Facebook page, phone number for ordering if internet goes down etc.

Diane’s number is 07570 881996 or email

This new venture is exciting at many levels.
