This Tuesday saw the successful launch of the Holsworthy Business Networking Group at the Kings Arms in Holsworthy. The event was organised by Lucie Cullen of This Life Business, a success coaching specialist, based in the town. Over 25 different business owners and representatives came together to gain new business contacts, exchange ideas and experiences and develop ideas on how to boost trade in their professions in Holsworthy.
Organiser, Lucie, arranged the inaugural meeting after having been frustrated at the lack of a formal business forum within the town, especially one welcoming to the vast array of micro and small businesses that Holsworthy boasts.
Explained Lucie: “It’s tough being in business these days, and especially more so when you have only you to do the many tasks that require your business to become a success. My aim was to start companies talking to each other at a free monthly drop-in event, with a vision of increasing support from the many talented individuals that we have within our community. If business training can be delivered on a group basis the affordability becomes possible for all”.
Attendee, Matt Dennis, of Matthew Dennis Hypnotherapy said: “A great event! It was fantastic to find out just how many services Holsworthy can offer and I’m sure this is just scratching the surface. It was lovely to meet friendly, motivated people who are really looking to push their businesses forward.”
The next meeting has been arranged for 17th April at the Kings Arms 17.30-19.30. All are welcome, just bring your business cards, buy a drink and get networking. Complimentary food provided by Jill Tallon of The Kings Arms.
