Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a two-vehicle collision near Truro.
Emergency services were called to the A390 Treyew Road at around 5.07pm on Thursday 28 March.
It was reported that a motorcycle was in collision with a silver Honda whilst travelling along the carriageway at the intersection along Chapel Hill.
The motorcyclist, a 58-year-old man local man, sustained potentially life-threatening pelvic injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
The road was closed for over seven hours to allow emergency services to work at the scene.
Police enquiries remain ongoing at this time.
