Long delays on M5 northbound and A30 eastbound

Following an earlier incident there are long delays on the M5 northbound between J22 Burnham-on-Sea J19 Gordano Services. Average journey times are currently being delayed by at least 60 minutes. The queue of congestion spans approximately 8 miles in total.

If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey.

Following this, there are delays between J31 and J30 there are long delays on the A30 eastbound between A382 near Tedburn St Mary and the M5 at J31 near Exeter. Delays continue on the M5 northbound between J31 and J30. Average journey times are being delayed by at least 60 minutes, but all lanes are now open, delays are reducing and it is anticipated that normal traffic conditions will return shortly.
