Late summer – take up your paintbrush!

Talented local artist, Lynne Holehouse, has been teaching art classes at The Bank in Bude for a long time, and now offers two sessions a week there. She also has her once a month Painting & Prosecco classes on Fridays at her studio on The Wharf.

The Bank classes are watercolour workshops, where Lynne shares ideas and tips while you have a go at painting your masterpiece. They are pay as you go and the £13 fee includes tea/coffee and cake. Yum. Bring your own art equipment or you can hire. 10 am – 12 noon.

Painting & Prosecco sessions cost £37, with all materials included for the three hours, including the vital fizz. These sessions are acrylics-based. Numbers are limited and places fill quickly.

Summer is a busy time for everyone in Bude but once the visitors wear off and the weather becomes autumnal, you may fancy trying something new, so here are two arty options.
