Last Covid ‘check-in’ of the year

Here’s my last peek at the interactive map for 2020, a year we will probably all be glad to see the back of. Here’s hoping that 2021 will be better. Stay home and keep safe as along with the Covid guidelines, it is also set to get icy overnight.

Here are the figures for the seven days to Boxing Day, 26th December:

  • Bude, total cases 8
  • Poundstock and Kilkhampton, total cases 5
  • Holsworthy, Bradworthy and Welcombe, total cases 12
  • Hartland Coast, total cases 8
  • Launceston, total cases 9
  • Crackington & Tintagel, total cases 4
  • Camelford and Tresmeer, data suppressed (cases below 3)
  • Torridge, 70 cases
  • Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, 724 cases
  • Devon, 1120 cases

Devon & Cornwall are now in tier 3 restrictions.

Tier 3 restrictions mean: people must not meet socially indoors, in a private garden or most outdoor public venues with anybody they do not live with or have a support bubble with. Everyone who can work from home should do so.
