Introduction to Locally-Led Learning

A short introduction from the project lead about a new project in the Bude, Camelford, Bodmin and Newquay areas for people who are not currently working but are looking to get involved with some fun, learner-led, learning:

There will be a series of additional videos to give you more information about this program and the things that it can offer.

  • Cornwall Adult Education is delivering Locally Led Learning, which is an ESF funded project from the Community Led Local Development Programme in Cornwall.
  • It’s for people 19 years and over who are not currently working and who live in and around the areas of Bodmin, Bude, Launceston & Newquay.
  • We want to offer informal sessions online and in-person in these areas; Arts & Crafts, Cornwall Culture & History, Nature, Environment & Animals, Leisure, Communication Skills and Health and Wellbeing.
  • We are also learner-led and so open to new ideas about courses you may have based on your own interests.
  • The aim of the project is to encourage, support and enthuse individuals back into learning or work by improving their confidence and skills.
