The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of icy patches and wintry showers affecting the South West between 10 pm tonight and 11 am tomorrow morning.
Icy patches are expected to develop during the early hours of Thursday over England and Wales. There will also be some wintry showers about, mainly over hills. With the exception of high ground, most places will not see any snow settling.
There could be:
- Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces
- Probably some ice on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths
