Thining of those in flooded communities today – what a horrible wet and windy winter this has so far been. Storm Dennis is huffing and puffing and at times succeeding in blowing things down. Seems to come on strong, then have a lull (the calm before the next onslaught).
Meanwhile, while we have been let off relatively lightly here, there are still problems in the SW.
Scaffolding was dislodged this morning in Looe (see below), leaving it precariously leaning on a delivery lorry following a road traffic collision in Fore Street Looe. I was there some weeks ago and know the exact spot.
