Hit & Run, Launceston

Police are seeking the driver of a hit and run incident near Launceston which left a cyclist with serious injuries.

The incident, involving a cyclist and a small red car, happened at around 6.30pm on Monday 23 July on the A395 near Launceston. The cyclist was travelling in the direction of South Petherwin.

The cyclist came off the road and into foliage along with his bike. He sustained a broken collarbone and was taken to Derriford hospital for treatment.

The car failed to stop at the scene and the driver is now being sought in connection with this incident, by police.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for any information to help identify the driver and the small red car.
