For those who don’t use social media, the RNLI issued a high surf advisory warning for Bude and other areas of SW saying:
A High Surf Advisory warning has been issued for beaches in Cornwall, with 2m waves expected.
The warning covers exposed north coast beaches and some west facing beaches on the south coast throughout Tuesday (23 July 2019).
Bodyboarders and novice surfers urged to heed advice of RNLI lifeguards, while experienced surfers are told to avoid exposed beaches.
However, the forecast has now changed and the advisory cancelled.
