If you have a special announcement, Bude & Beyond is happy to share it. Here’s the first of hopefully many more.
By Marisa Giles:
It is with a heavy heart that the tenants of the Bude Business Centre waved goodbye to Mr Edward Gregory following his retirement on the 29th March 2019.
Mr Gregory has been the Facilities Manager for the Bude Business Centre for eighteen years.
In all this time he has delivered an exceptional service to his tenants. This is due to his personal demeanour, authority and utter professionalism.
Nothing was ever too much, no detail was ever overlooked. When Mr Gregory announced his retirement, naturally a party was called for him.
Mr Andrew Dinner of Safe and Sound has known Mr Gregory for some thirty-five years and has been the longest established tenant at the Bude Business Centre.
Therefore, it fell to Mr Dinner to say some words at the retirement party and present Mr Gregory with a parting gift to show their appreciation. Mr Gregory is a keen amateur photographer, so when he used his new cameral and took a lovely photo of barrel rock, it was the perfect gift, we had this put onto a canvas for him.
Mr Dinner felt, along with the rest of the tenants, that Mr Gregory would be greatly missed, he mentioned his friendship with Mr Gregory and how they shared a mutual interest in cars.
Mr Gregory thanked all the tenants for their leaving present and was overwhelmed by the appreciation shown towards him. He said he felt it was the right time to call it a day as he would be turning 77.
