Groups at Bude Library- not just books (though they are VERY important)

From Ari Winfield:

The Home Educators Group first session held on Monday 9th September.

There was an Enthusiastic start to our first Home Educator sessions here at Bude Library this week. It was great to meet those that came along.

If you or somebody you know is a Home Educator, we’d love to grow the group so please get in touch!

We provide space in our Children’s area for self-directed socialisation and learning, and in turn, we will support the group by providing as many resources as we can, as well as refreshments.

But! ….This group will be shaped by those that come along, and we’d love to hear your ideas.

Come and meet like-minded children and adults weekly on a Monday between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm.

Bude Library Book group began in earnest on Wednesday the 11th September.  A great start to our in-house Book Group, we welcomed our new members with much excitement; it was a jolly affair with tea and ‘book chat’ …. we still have a few vacant spaces and we would welcome newcomers.  Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 9th October between 2.00 pm and 4.00 pm.
