Great Expectations tickets competition

Sunday 20 Sept at 3pm sees David Mynne, a Kneehigh Theatre veteran, presents his epic one man version of ‘Great Expectations’, fresh from a sold-out run at the recently reopened Minack Theatre.

Some of Charles Dickens’ most memorable characters are vividly brought to life in this anarchic and joyful telling of this glorious tale described as ‘hugely entertaining’ by The Times. Be prepared to be scared and amazed, to cry and laugh! Using Dickens’ original text (well, mostly!) David Mynne’s skilful, one-man performance of this epic story is deft, daft, delightful …and definitely Dickens! The show is suitable for adults and accompanied children over 10yrs.

Tickets are not available on the door but can be bought in advance, either from The Seventh Wave Gallery, Bude or via wegottickets online (search ‘Ebbingford’). Tickets are £12 Adult, £10 per person for families (parent/s with child/children under 18yrs) and £10 for Key Workers (NHS etc). The links to online sales are: (Great Expectations)

This event is being promoted by Bude Youth Theatre thanks to the support of Jon & Gina at Ebbingford Manor. Audiences are invited to arrive from one hour before the show starts and to bring low back seating, blankets, their own refreshments, suitable clothing and sunblock! Family groups will be seated in their own bubble on the lawn. There will be a hands-free cash raffle to raise funds for ‘Connect Bude’, the group that is campaigning to reconnect Bude and Holsworthy to the National Rail Network.

Bude & Beyond is thrilled to have been offered 2 free tickets to the performance for a lucky winner.
