Stratton Flower Festival held every year at St. Andrew’s Church was once again a visual delight! The theme this year was ‘Celebrating the Colours of the Rainbow’ and the displays were indeed very colourful. There were 18 exhibits in all, interpreting the theme in very individual ways. Throughout time the ‘rainbow’ has captured the imagination of humans and has meant different things to different religions and cultures across the centuries.
As usual, there were delicious refreshments available, including homemade cakes and scones, tea and coffee. St Andrew’s is a stunning church and well worth a visit at any time of year.
