There is a flood alert in force for the North Cornwall coast from The Rumps to Hartland Point excluding Bude.
Flooding is possible over the weekend high tides.
Flood Alert criteria are met for the highest tide on the evening of Sunday 1st September.
Times of high water will vary along the coast.
Force 5 North Westerly winds are forecast to cause sea spray in exposed coastal locations.
With only small to moderate wave heights expected, these impacts are expected to be minor.
However, people are advised to stay away from risk areas and to take care next to the coast.
